New plantings, mix 1 part castings
with 4 to 5 parts of your favorite potting soil, our compost, before planting
Established
pots, topdress monthly with 1 to 2 tablespoons of earthworm castings per quart of potting compost
For annual flowers, vegetables, and ornamentals, work 1/2 to 1 inch of castings into plant holes or seed furrows before placing
seeds or seedlings. Side dress monthly with a few tablespoons per plant.
